Crumbl Salted Caramel Cookie Ingredients:
Ingredients for the cookies –
- 1 ½ c unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ c sugar
- 1 ½ c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 3 ¾ c flour
- 2 sleeves of graham crackers, crushed
- 2 t baking soda
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
Ingredients for the frosting –
- 2-8oz packages of cream cheese, softened
- 7 oz marshmallow cream
- 2 c powdered sugar
- ½ caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt to garnish
Crumbl Salted Caramel Cookie Directions:
To make the Cookies:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment and set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the butter, sugar and brown sugar. Cream until smooth.
- Add in the egg and vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Add in all the remaining dry ingredients – graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix until completely combined – scraping the sides often.
- Use a large ice cream scoop or ½ cup measuring cup to portion out the cookie dough. Only place six on a baking sheet as they will spread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely before decorating.
To make the frosting:
- For the frosting, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar in a stand mixer bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Add in the marshmallow cream and mix until combined – scraping the sides often and then whip on medium speed for about a minute.
- Transfer the frosting to a piping bag (no tip) or a ziplock bag.
- When ready to assemble, pipe a swirl of frosting over the top of each cooled cookie.
- Drizzle with the caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle with the flaky sea salt.
Storage: Cookies can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
